This month's meeting will cover an overview of some aspects of the AAMAS 2005 conference which was attended by quite a few of the Melbourne agents community. There will also be a brief overview of IJCAI 2005 with regard to aspects of interest to the agents community.
We will specifically cover general overviews, some comments on the invited talks, some updates on various activities within the international agents community, and more detailed comments on some of the workshops and tutorials where people were presenting. This will also include a brief update on Agent Software Engineering collaboration between the UoM and RMIT groups, and future plans regarding international collaboration in this area.
Presentation will be by Liz Soneneberg, Lin Padgham, Michael Winikoff and Ryszard Kowalczyck.
Others who attended are encouraged to contribute comments and discussion about aspects of the conference(s) they found interesting.
