Abstract:
Mobile agents are a class of software agents that have the ability to
move from host to host autonomously. Mobile agents are seen as
potentially beneficial for mobile and ubiquitous applications. This
talk will present an overview of some mobile agent related research
projects in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering,
Monash University.
The projects include:
- mGAIA: conceptual modelling of mobile agent
systems
- WSAdvisor: mobile agent based information gathering to support
dynamic selection of web services
- DAME: Distributed Agent Based Mining
Environment for delivering e-services, resource-aware ubiquitous data
mining using agents
- CALMA: context-aware light-weight mobile BDI
agents.
