Abstract:

As commercial agent systems become more sophisticated, developers are building increasingly complex agent systems.  Agent system developers face a problem, in that these complex systems usually have to be built from scratch, with little or no code reuse possible.  Agent Oriented Software has recently introduced a feature into JACK Intelligent Agents (tm) called Capabilities which serves to make code reuse a reality for agent system developers.

This talk covers the Capability feature in detail and explains how it facilitates code reuse and hints at applications in agent role determination and assignment.

More information on JACK Intelligent Agents is found at http://www.agent-software.com.
