Abstract:
Hybrid configurations of intelligent methods like neural networks, knowledge
based systems, fuzzy systems, and genetic algorithms have been used in
the industry for process control, diagnosis, scheduling, forecasting, currency
recognition and in number of other areas. This talk will outline
an Intelligent Multi-Agent Hybrid Distributed Architecture (IMAHDA) at
the task structure level and computation level for intelligent hybrid systems.
It will then describe an agent-oriented software engineering methodology
which realizes IMAHDA for developing complex intelligent hybrid multi-agent
systems. IMAHDA has been applied in engineering, simulation and business.
The work is an outcome of a book "Engineering Intelligent Multi-Agent
Hybrid Systems", published by Kluwer Academic Publishers in Massachusetts,
USA in September 1997. The book makes contributions in a number of areas
including :
-
Problem Solving
-
Intelligent Hybrid Systems (including Fusion systems, Combination systems,
Data Mining, and Associative
Systems)
-
Software Modelling of Hybrid Systems
-
Intelligent Control Systems
-
Intelligent Multi-Agent Systems
-
Agent-Oriented Software Engineering (e.g. Role of Objects and Agents, Agent
Oriented Analysis and Design)
-
Dynamic Analysis of Intelligent Multi-Agent Hybrid Distributed Architecture
-
Integrated Framework for Enterprise Modelling
-
Software Modelling and Integration of Database Systems, Information Systems
and Intelligent Systems
